Warren Hershkowitz

Currently the founder and CEO of Square Foot Advisors, Warren stands at the intersection of real estate, technology and marketing, where he has a distinguished record of innovating specific tools designed to solve the complex challenges facing today’s real estate companies.

As an accomplished entrepreneur, Warren has launched four companies including his current venture, Square Foot Advisors, a real estate-focused technology consulting firm founded in 2010.

In addition, he has worked for the industry’s top organizations including WeWork, Douglas Elliman, Keller Williams, Brown Harris Stevens, Halstead, Prudential Real Estate, GE Capital Partners, Marcus & Millichap, and Citi Habitats.

Warren specializes in bringing to market innovative products and services that have been well received by the industry.

He has launched a wide range of SaaS products, including several that are actively being used at Square Foot Advisors.

Additional Career Experiences

Through Square Foot Advisors, Warren’s has executed growth and revenue strategies in an Outsourced C-Suite role. As the Chief Product Officer of Rebel Interactive Group, Warren launched RebelWare, a SaaS suite of business and marketing tools. As Chief Operating Officer of SERHANT, the celebrity-founded real estate brokerage and media company, he unified the Technology, Education, and Media business into a single platform. At Spec, a UK-based PropTech company, he launched the firm’s US-based business delivering a Lidar-based solution to change how real estate is measured, marketed, and sold.

From 2018 to 2021, Warren launched WeWork’s global Brokerage Division where he led a global, cross-functional team which launched two key businesses focusing on Tenant Rep and a Global Referral Platform . Under his direction, he delivered tens of thousands of leads across a global broker network resulting in over $100 million in net-new revenue and $250 million in WeWork membership contracts.

Prior to 2020, Warren was the COO of Elliman’s Development Marketing Division. He oversaw the marketing and operations of over 200 rental and condo/co-op projects. As the EVP of Marketing with Citi Habitats, he oversaw the company’s marketing function and helped position the company for its acquisition to Corcoran. As the EVP of Marketing at Arvida Realty Services, he oversaw the marketing of over 100 offices and 4,000 agents and was a member of the disposition team in the $175m sale to Cendant. As the VP of Strategy at Triad Research and Consulting, he provided the country’s top multi-family owners and lenders feasibility reports for hundreds of development projects. As the founder of Broad Street Advisors, he created a JV with GE Capital Partners that disposed of over $2 Billion of real estate. In 1996, Warren began his career as the Director of Research for Grubb and Ellis and was an Investment Associate with Marcus & Millichap.

Warren holds an MBA from the University of South Florida, and a bachelor’s degree in both Economics and Literature from Binghamton University. Warren is a licensed real estate broker in New York. He currently is an Associate Professor at NYU, where he teaches four Master’s degree courses. He is the Corporate Treasurer of two not-for-profit organizations and serves as Fire Commissioner of the Greenville Fire District, a publicly elected position in Scarsdale, NY. Warren currently lives in Westchester County, New York with his two daughters.
